Journalists Associations in Southeastern and HCM City cluster summarizes emulation works in 2014

Morning 30^th Jan, Binh Duong province Journalists Association hosted a conference to summarize emulation works in 2014 of Journalists Associations in Southeastern and HCM City cluster. Mr. Nguyen Minh Giao, member of the Party Standing Committee cum Head of Propaganda and Education Committee; Mr. Pham Quoc Toan, Vietnam Association of Journalists’ Vice Chairman, and representatives of Journalists Associations in Southeastern and HCM City cluster attended the conference.

In 2014, based on the propagation direction of the Central Propaganda Committee, Vietnam Association of Journalists, and resolutions of Party Committees, Journalists Associations has focused on disseminate the Party’s resolutions, the Central Resolution 4 “Some urgent issues in Party building"; the campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh"; goals and tasks of socioeconomic development, especially propaganda on national islands…

To perform well propaganda, in 2014, Journalists Associations has worked closely with press agencies to organize popularize Central Party’s resolutions, State laws, plans and duties of local socioeconomic development; training courses of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and moral example for members, journalists…

During 2014, Journalists Associations responded actively to contests launched by the Central, such as: the National Press Award (120 submitted entries); writing contest on the topic "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", national radio – television festival; and won many high prizes. In addition, professional training for members with more practical contents has been boosted.
