Legal assistance offered for farmers

Nguyen Hoang Vinh, chairman of the provincial Farmers’ Society, said farmers’ societies all levels have positively spurred legal promulgation and education for members and farmers. By various and plentiful measures including training, legal contest, legal assistance and so on, members and farmers’ legal awareness has been improved, helping minimize complaints and tightening solidarity in residential areas.

Over the past 10 years, all level farmers societies have held about 14,000 legal assistances with the participation of over 800,000 farmers. So far, the entire whole has had 91 mediation councils and over 600 mediation teams.

Nguyen Hoang Vinh affirmed that one of successful models of the Instruction 26 is the establishment of club of farmers and laws. The whole province has so far set up 23 clubs with the attendance of nearly 1,000 members. The club’s model is an effective mode of legal promulgation.
