Long Nguyen Rubber Plantation earns big for innovative approach

By the end of October 2011, rubber exploitation of Long Nguyen Rubber Plantation reached 2,749 tons or 71.86% of its plan. Up to date, efforts and innovative work of its staff have paid off.

Director of Long Nguyen Plantation, Mr. Tran Minh Chanh, who is also Secretary of Long Nguyen Plantation Party Cell, confirmed that technology application has contributed to increase business gain. 

Hundreds of workers are attending rubber tapping contest

“Aiming at higher quality and output, ever since 2002, Board of Directors of Long Nguyen Plantation has carefully prepared plantation profiles including tree age, tapping age, distribution of trees, ecosystem, land, bio system, and so on. Thus, Board of Directors can monitor output and abnormal situations. In 2001, a hectare can only produce 1.68 tons of rubber which increased to 2.1 tons in 2005. We maintained such output up to date,” said Mr. Tran Minh Chanh.

In 5 years time, its staff has contributed various initiatives to improve rubber tapping and business. Thanks to such efforts, employees of Long Nguyen Plantation are being paid averagely VND 6.3 million a month with annual bonus of VND 18.5 million.

As for its party cell, the plantation has helped to admit 39 party members in 10 years. Its party cell is qualified as a 10-year strong organization.
