Update: 17-07-2021 | 15:14:14

On June 17, Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, signed a plan to guarantee circulation and supply of necessities, stabilize the market in districts, towns and cities in response to the Covid-19.

Accordingly, provincial Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to work with Binh Duong Aeon Canary Supermarket to arrange mobile vending vehicles. Binh Duong Aeon Supermarket commits an adequate source of goods, the collection of money from people exactly according to bills and price list posted at the supermarket. In addition, the supermarket sets up selling points of essential goods to stabilize the market at Post Offices and Culture Post Offices. People shall come directly to buy goods according to instructions, or call directly to phone number of post offices to place orders, the supplier is Big C supermarket. There are 4 volunteers for each vending truck (2 members of Youth Union and 2 members of Women's Union), follow the 5K rule of Ministry of Health to ensure the correct distance, wear face mask, check  body temperature, and disinfect hands. Priority is given to the districts of Phu Giao, North Tan Uyen, Bau Bang, Dau Tieng and Ben Cat town. Implementation time is from 7am to 10am/day, 3 days/week.

The plan states that if conventional markets are not blocked, business activities at the markets can be carried out, but the area must be disinfected within 3 days. Retailers, who have tested negative within 3 days, must have a line to ensure the minimum distance of 2 meters between sellers and buyers. Selling price must be publicly posted, goods must be sold at right prices...

This plan encourages people to increase their online shopping through phone numbers or mobile apps of supermarkets. Particularly for blocked areas, steering committees for epidemic prevention and control at district and commune levels depend on their actual situation; proactively arrange personnel to receive orders from people in different forms, to go to post offices to buy and receive goods in people's stead.
