More than 900 mid-autumn gifts for disadvantaged children

On September 9, Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs sent delegations to visit and give Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to disadvantaged children at social protection establishments and children of Provincial Blind Association’s members.

Trinh Duc Tai, Director of Provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, presents mid-autumn gifts to children of members of the Provincial The Blind’s Association.

At each destination, the delegations graciously inquired after the children's health, learning results, shared their difficulties and encouraged the children to better themselves. The delegations also asked local administrations to continue paying attention to and take care of disadvantaged children.

In Thu Dau Mot City, the delegation visited children at the Provincial Association of the Blind, the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital and Ngoc Quy Disabled and Orphans Sponsoring Center.

Also on September 7, the delegations visited and presented more than 900 gifts including moon cakes and cash to 15 social protection establishments throughout the province. Total cost of gifts was more than 300 million VND.
