Opportunely removing obstacles to promote local socio-economic development

On the afternoon of May 16, provincial Party Committee held a meeting with Secretaries of the Party Committees of districts, towns, cities and Party Committees under provincial Party Committee in April, 2023 and set out key tasks in the coming time. Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired the conference.

In April, the province’s Party building achieved outstanding results, with  the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) ranking second nationwide; the Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS) ranking fourth nationwide, up 18 places compared to 2021. The province also held meetings with industries ‘associations to remove difficulties for production and business, promoting export and economic growth. The province’s socio-economic situation, national defense - security were strengthened and stabilized. The province’s State budget revenue and spending ensured estimates. At the conference, leaders of localities in the province focused on exchanging, discussing and proposing and recommending a number of issues related to solutions to solve enterprises’ difficulties, supporting them to promote production and business activities; accelerate the progress of public investment capital disbursement ...

Concluding the conference, Mr.Thao assigned provincial Party Committee's Civil Affairs Department to direct departments, agencies, sectors and localities to closely coordinate and promptly remove obstacles to promote the local socio-economic development; focus on implementing investment procedures, speeding up the disbursement of public investment capital in 2023, especially for key projects; striving to disburse public investment capital to reach 30%-35% of the plan in the second quarter of 2023; perfecting policies to support enterprises outside industrial parks and compounds in the southern region to convert their functions and relocate to industrial parks and compounds; well perform social welfare work, further support enterprises for better development; improve the operational efficiency of community digital technology groups to guide and popularize  digital skills among people...; especially further pay attention to building a strong political system at the grassroots, improve grassroots staff’s sense of responsibility, working capacity in order to well perform the assigned tasks; well prepare the organization of the mid-term preliminary review of 2020-2025 on the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th provincial Party Congress, provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs and projects...
