Outstanding collectives, individuals in fire fighting and prevention honored

Provincial People’s Committee has just held a conference to review the 2014 movement of “All people take part in fire fighting and prevention” and honor more than 110 outstanding collectives, individuals in the movement.

Chairman of provincial People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit for 23 collectives and 30 individuals for their excellent performance in the movement. Director of provincial Anti-Fire Police Agency also presented the certificates of merit to 74 other outstanding collectives and individuals.

Addressing the conference, representative of provincial Anti-Fire Police Agency said: “On-site force is among four main forces taking part in the local fire fighting and prevention activities. It plays an important role in ensuring safety on fire fighting and prevention in residential areas, at State agencies and enterprises in the province. So far, the whole province has had a total of 91 night-watchmen’s teams engaging in activities of fire fighting and prevention in communes, wards and townships with more than 2,000 members…”.

Colonel Huynh Ngoc Phuong, Deputy Head of the Bureau V28 under the Ministry of Public Security praised Binh Duong for its achivements in the movement of “All people take part in fire fighting and prevention” while emphasizing that the movement needed to be propagandized more widely, raising public awareness of fire fighting and prevention.
