Over 21,000 health insurance cards granted to the poor

Over the past seven months, the Divisions of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of districts, towns and TDM city coordinated with functional agencies to grant 21,427 health insurance cards to the poor with more than VND16billion.

Provincial Department of Health worked with sectors, mass organizations to partially support medical examination and treatment expenses for targeted people under provincial People’s Committee’s Decision No.3393/QD-UBND dated December 30, 2017 with nearly 500 documents expected to enjoy the policy. Along with the policy, provincial Department of Health was proactive to team up with sectors to provide free medical check-up for the poor.
