Peak emulation campaign of “paying debt of gratitude” launched

A ceremony to launch the peak emulation campaign of “paying debt of gratitude” on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2017) was held at provincial Military Command on the morning of May 9, in attendance of Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and representatives of sectors, departments and mass organizations in the province.

At the ceremony, more than 150 officials, soldiers of provincial Military Command reviewed their activities in taking care of war invalids, martyrs’ families and revolutionary contributors over the past time. Implementing the peak emulation campaign of “paying debt of gratitude”, provincial Military Command will boost propaganda activities on patriotism among people; build 3 “gratitude” and “comrade” houses and provide medical check-ups, medicine and gifts for policy beneficiaries in North Tan Uyen district. Armed forces of districts, towns and TDM city will also mobilize officials and members to build “gratitude” and “comrade” houses, present gifts to policy beneficiaries, revolutionary contributors…

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Hung asked for authorities at all levels, sectors, Party members, civil servants and people in the province in general and officials, soldiers of provincial armed forces in particular to realize concrete and practical deeds for the “paying debt of gratitude” task. Each unit, locality needs to map out specific plans to carry out the set targets in this task; be more proactive in coordination for concrete plans in seeking and gathering martyrs’ remains; soon fulfill a task of dealing with policies for revolutionary contributors…

On this occasion, representatives of provincial Military Command and military agencies  (photo) in the province signed a mutual agreement of the peak emulation campaign “When drinking water, remember its resource, paying debt of gratitude”.
