People-to-people diplomacy activities promoted

On the afternoon of February 10, the Executive Board of provincial Union of Friendship Organizations held its open meeting in 2023.

In 2023, as planned, provincial Union of Friendship Organizations will continue widely propagandizing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress on foreign affairs, including people-to-people diplomacy; Vietnam's foreign policies in the new period; achievements of the country after more than 35 years of renewal and Binh Duong province after 26 years of separation from Song Be province...

Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and its member organizations also coordinated to implement a number of programs and activities to promote people-to-people diplomacy, focusing on depth with other countries. Particularly, provincial Union of Friendship Organizations will further build relationships with diplomatic missions and consulates of countries in Ho Chi Minh city; actively participate in get-togethers with consular delegations and foreign agencies in Ho Chi Minh city organized by the province; participate in and support the reception of foreign delegations to visit and work in the province. Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations will also direct the organization of three congresses, including the first congress of provincial Vietnam - Netherlands Friendship Association for the 2023-2028 tenure, the first congress of provincial Vietnam - ASEAN Friendship Association for the 2023-2028 tenure, the second congress of  provincial Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association for the 2023-2028 tenure.

At the meeting, provincial Union of Friendship Organizations consulted, replaced and supplemented 7 members of the Executive Board for the 2020-2025 tenure.
