Phu Giao marks VFA’s 90th founding anniversary

Phu Giao district’s Farmer ‘Association, on October 8, held a ceremony to mark the 90^th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Farmers ‘Association (VFA) (October 14, 1930-October 14, 2020).

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 90-year tradition and development of Vietnamese peasants and the VFA. Upholding the tradition, the district’s Farmers ‘Association was proactive to improve its operational contents and forms; mobilized members to take part in revolutionary action movements; successfully realized the set targets, tasks and farmers ‘movements.

With achievements done, the district’s Farmers ‘Association received the third-class Labor Medal of the State President, the certificate of merit of the Prime Minister and many other noble prizes. On this occasion, the association also awarded the mementos “For Vietnamese farmer class” of the VFA Central Committee to 7 individuals.
