Program on tourism popularization launched among Youth Union members

On July 5, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony to launch a program on popularizing the local tourism sites among Youth Union members at the “Phuoc Thanh provincial chief palace” historical relic site in Phu Giao district’s Phuoc Vinh township.

More than 150 Youth Union members attended the program. They were introduced about the “Phuoc Thanh provincial chief palace” historical relic site; visited Buu Phuoc, the district’s oldest pagoda, built in 1908. During the two resistance wars against foreign invaders, the pagoda gave shelter to revolutionary officials.

The program aimed to popularize the local historical, cultural relic sites among Youth Union members, helping them feel prouder of national cultural identities and have a sense of responsibility in preserving them, contributing to building up a more prosperous nation.
