Provincial leaders receive Cuban Consulate General in HCM city

Early September 7, Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation welcomed Bernabe Garcia Valido, the outgoing Consulate General of Cuba in HCM city and his spouse.

At the reception, Mr.Bernabe Garcia Valido expressed his deep gratitude to provincial leaders for their efforts in promoting cooperation between the two countries. He also asserted that he will try his best to boost the bilateral relationship while wanting Binh Duong to create favorable conditions for the new Consulate General of Cuba in HCM city to fulfill his entrusted tasks.

Mr.Nam thanked the outgoing Consulate General for his special sentiment to Vietnam’s people and land while affirming that during his time in Vietnam, he helped locals know more about Cuba’s people and land as well as the development of the nation. The secretary also wished him and his spouse good health and happiness and wanted that on his new position, he will continue calling for Caban enterprises to make investment in Binh Duong.

*On the morning of the same day, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee also received Bernabe Garcia Valido, the outgoing Consulate General of Cuban in HCM city and his spouse.

At the reception, Mr.Liem wished the outgoing Consulate General success on his new position while affirming that Binh Duong will continue having good coordination with the new Consulate General of Cuba in HCM city to strengthen fine relations between the locality and Cuban Consulate in the new tenure.
