Provincial leaders receive Hesse State Parliament’s delegation

On 15 Nov, at Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, Trần Thanh Liêm, Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, received the delegation of Hesse State Parliament (Federal Republic of Germany), led by Mr. Boris Rhein, President of Hessen Federal Parliament,. Attending the meeting were Nguyễn Văn Phúc, Deputy Minister of Education and Training; representatives of Provincial People's Council, leaders of departments, branches, and Vietnam-Germany University.

At the meeting, Mr. Liêm informed the delegation about socio-economic development situation of Binh Duong province; at the same time, thanked the Government of Federal Republic of Germany for their attention and investment in Vietnam-Germany University. Thereby, this has closely tied the relation between two countries Vietnam and Germany, contributing to training high-quality human resources, facilitating sustainable socio-economic development of Binh Duong Province.

Mr. Boris Rhein emphasized the importance of Vietnam-Germany University to the friendship relationship between Vietnam and Germany over the years. Particularly the German Government would strive to support the development of Vietnam-Germany University in order to confirm training quality as well as its position in the education sector. In parallel with the training of high-quality human resource to meet development needs, the university also strives to train and improve staff working in Binh Duong province.
