Provincial Student Association opens mid-tenure congress

The mid-tenure congress of the 2^nd provincial Student Association was organized at provincial Political School on the afternoon of October 20, in attendance of Nguyen Van Loc, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education.

Reportedly, activities of the association, especially “green summer”, “Building the value of Vietnamese youth model in the new period” campaigns…continued reaching practical results over the past time. The association also attached special importance to activities on scientific research, culture-arts, international exchange for students…In the last mid-tenure, the whole province had 2 students with the “five-good performance” title at central level, 217 at provincial level and 769 at school level. There were 10,200 out of 21,415 students taking part in the “volunteer day” program; 17,000 offered jobs…

Addressing the congress, Mr.Loc praised achievements done by the association and students in the province. For better development, he stressed that the association needs to attach special importance to education work; promote emulation movements; uphold the volunteer, creative role of students; give comprehensive care to students; further improve operational contents and forms.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of Vietnam Student Association honored 7 outstanding individuals in the movements of the association in the last mid-tenure.
