Thuan An needs to strengthen Covid-19 prevention and control in Ips

At a meeting with Thuan An city’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on the afternoon of June 13, Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee spoke highly of the role and responsibility of the  Party committees and authorities at all levels in Covid-19 prevention and control over the past time.

He also asked for Thuan An city to be proactive to consider and use facilities such as schools and factories to requisition as isolation areas; mobilize all resources for Covid-19 prevention and control. Especially, provincial Industrial Parks (Ips)’Management Board coordinated with localities to require factories and businesses to register for the implementation of plans against the pandemic in the context of social isolation under the Prime Minister’s Directive 16. The city’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control also needs to map out a plan for zoning and setting up checkpoints in Dong An IP (if the pandemic breaks out); have good coordination in contact tracing; determine the capacity of enterprises in pandemic prevention and control; ensure security -order and essential supplies for zoning if the pandemic occurs. In addition, the local health sector needs to cooperate with provincial Ips’ Management Board to soon set up a plan to take samples for testing in businesses.

At the working session, members of the city’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control raised a number of obstacles in order to have solutions to improve the local efficiency in pandemic prevention and control...
