To immediately take some measures of Covid-19 prevention and control

On June 29, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee signed and issued Document No. 2868/UBND-VX to immediately implement a number of measures to prevent and control the Covid-19.

According to the document, the current Covid-19 resurgence in the province is still developing very complicatedly, spreading quickly, dangerously and unpredictably. Therefore, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee asked Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, agencies, units and localities to immediately implement a number of contents: Set up delegations of the Steering Committee to inspect and supervise isolation areas; inspect the epidemic prevention and control in localities and units.

To take samples of high-risk cases at Bau Bang District Health Center.

The head of the inspection teams is responsible for proactively developing specific inspection plans, organizing the inspection and evaluation of disease prevention and control plans and scenarios; correcting shortcomings in isolation facilities of units, enterprises and localities; units or enterprises deliberately fails to comply or does not cooperate, they are requested to stop their operations; report inspection results to Department of Health.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned Department of Health to urgently complete the plan to take samples for testing, speed up the capacity of large-scale testing by multi-purpose methods, and coordinate with Viet A Company to ensure the epidemic suppression; cooperate with Management Board of provincial Industrial Parks, and People's Committee of districts to immediately direct industrial parks and enterprises to complete plans and scenarios to respond to each relevant situation when detecting cases of F0, F1, taking into account situations that both fight the epidemic and guarantee production of each workshop, each enterprise, and each industrial park.

Department of Health needs to urgently advise Provincial People's Committee to submit proposals to Ministry of Health, Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City for more resources so that the province could zone and stamp out epidemic outbreaks in the most effective way. Expeditiously complete and put into use the Covid-19 patient treatment area established by Provincial People's Committee, with 200 beds; at the same time, assume the prime responsibility and immediately coordinate with Provincial Military Command, Provincial Public Security, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City to urgently survey and establish more treatment facilities for Covid-19 patients.

Department of Information and Communications needs to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with Department of Health and work with agencies under Ministry of Information and Communications and Ministry of Science and Technology to receive and immediately apply software to effectively serve the epidemic prevention and control to suit the actual situation of the province.

Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs needs to assume the prime responsibility for, coordinate with Provincial Fatherland Front, and Department of Finance to study and propose immediately a plan to Provincial People's Committee for supporting workers in concentrated quarantine on the basis of researching, applying provisions of Decision No. 1606/QD-UBND dated June 21st 2021 of Provincial People's Committee. Agencies and units need to urgently implement; if difficulties and problems arise, agencies and localities need to promptly report to Provincial People's Committee for consideration and settlement.
