On March 6, Binh Duong Water Supply and Environment Co. Ltd. started a groundbreaking ceremony of waste water treatment plant in Thuan An town. Attending the ceremony were Mai The Trung, secretary of the provincial party committee cum head of the provincial National Assembly delegation, Cao Lai Quang, deputy minister of construction, Mr.Katsuro Nagai, rep of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and more.
The wastewater treatment plant in Thuan An town has a capacity of 17,000m3 per day and night with the total investment capital of VND2,300bil. The work includes main items such as building a 17,000m3 per day and night waste water treatment plant, building waste water collection network for over 3,000ha of Thuan An town including wards of Thuan Giao, Vinh Phu, An Phu,Lai Thieu and Binh Hoa, collecting waste water under area of Ba Bo canal to solve drastically pollution.
Rep of the project contractor, Mr. Toru Takenchi, chairman of Kobelco Vietnam Company pledged to finalize the entrusted tasks safely and timely.
Cao Lai Quang, deputy minister of Construction highly appreciated the provincial leaders’ determination on economic development, investment attraction and environmental protection, especially motivation and effort of Binh Duong Water Supply and Environment Company.
