Get-together marks the CPV’s 88th anniversary

Early February 2, provincial Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association (VCFA) held a get-together to mark the 88^th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), in attendance of Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the noble friendship tradition of Vietnam and Cambodia in the cause of national liberation and defence. Over the past years, Vietnam and Cambodia in general and provincial VCFA in particular constantly solidified the “forever green and forever sustainable” friendship and solidarity of the two nations. Delegates were informed of the political situation of Cambodia, helping people to people relations of the association get more practical and effective.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of VCFA awarded the emulation banner to provincial VCFA; the certificates of merit to 7 collectives and Tran Thi Kim Van, Chairwoman of provincial VCFA for their excellent achievements in activities celebrating the 50^th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam and Cambodia diplomatic relations in 2017. Provincial People’s Committee also awarded the certificates of merit to 18 outstanding collectives and individuals in people to people relations in 2017.
