350 people in TDM city mobilized to give blood

Early April 3, TDM city’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation in collaboration with the HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Hematology-Blood Transfusion held a voluntary blood donation campaign themed “Blood donation saves lives-Hearts needed”.

The Steering Board mobilized 350 officials, Youth Union members, volunteers of the city’s Red Cross Society and locals to take part in the campaign. Here, they were offered professional advice on diseases relating to blood and how to prevent them. The organizers also collected 269 units of blood, equivalent to 94,150 milliliters of blood.
