All-level congress of Vietnamese Youth Union to promote movements and activities among youths

By the end of March 2024, the organization of the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union at the grassroots level and the focal congress of the district-level Vietnam Youth Union have also ensured completion within the specified time.

Organizing the district-level focal congress

The Congress of the Youth Union of Phu Giao district, the sixth term 2024-2029, has just been successfully held. This is the first unit to organize a district-level congress in the province and the first unit in the country to organize a district-level congress for the term 2024-2029. The Congress had 130 youth delegates representing various sectors and fields in the district participating.

With the spirit of "Phu Giao youth eager to contribute - Vanguard unity - Integration for development", the congress discussed and approved the report on the implementation of the Resolution of the Fifth District Youth Union Congress of Vietnam, term 2019-2024; unified the objectives, tasks, and solutions for youth union and youth movement work for the term 2024-2029. Delegates participating in the congress have actively contributed to the draft documents of the 8th Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2024-2029. In addition, the congress has also approved the 6^th session of the District Youth Union Committee with 33 members; approved the delegation of 14 official delegates to the 8th Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2024-2029.

In the upcoming March 31st, the Youth Union Committee of Vietnam Youth Union of Thu Dau Mot City will be the second unit to organize the Eighth City Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029. The Congress will have 160 official delegates, representing over 10,000 union members and more than 45,000 youth in the city participating. At the Congress, delegates will evaluate the implementation results of the Resolution of the City Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union term 2019-2024. At the same time, set out the directions and tasks of the city's youth union and movement for the new term.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation, said that during the organization of the congress, both units implemented the construction of new youth facilities. After the congress, the new term of the Vietnam Youth Federation Committee of the two units continues to study, incorporate into resolutions, concretize into actions, and lead the youth work, the local youth movement is increasingly developing.

Excited and determined manner

In May 2024, the Youth Union Congress of Vietnam in districts, towns, and cities in the remaining province will complete the organization of the 2024-2029 term congress. To organize the congress well, the units are currently urgently completing the preparation phase to achieve the set goals effectively. For example, the Youth Union Committee of Bau Bang district has announced the emblem of the Youth Union Congress of Vietnam district for the third time of term 2024-2029.

The Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Vietnam's Bau Bang district symbolizes the congress with the image of a fast-sailing ship, rising above the waves, carrying the aspirations - knowledge - ambitions of young people on the path to establish themselves and their careers. On the other hand, the symbol represents the development of science and technology in the lives of young people closely associated with creative learning and work in the era 4.0. The symbol with the focus on the emblem also shows the wide social organization role of Vietnamese youth, a place of gathering, solidarity of young people with fresh, modern colors, reflecting the spirit of innovation, integration, and dynamism of the youth in Bau Bang.

The Youth Union of Vietnam Youth Union of Tan Uyen City is also preparing the final stages of the congress to ensure compliance. Mr. Tran Thien Loc, Secretary of the Youth Union, Chairman of the City Youth Union, said that the city Youth Union is focusing on preparing congress documents; personnel work and partnership procedures. After that, the preparatory work for the congress will be reviewed. Regarding the propaganda slogan, the union prepares appropriate content in line with the political tasks and youth movements of the locality. In parallel, the city Youth Union focuses on carrying out propaganda work before, during, and after the congress through the radio system, social networks. At the same time, focusing on applying technology, digital transformation to carry out propaganda work to create a spreading effect, encourage and inspire young people to actively participate in the new term with a joyful, exciting and passionate atmosphere of youth.
