Ensuring progress of activities at 2024 "Ripe Fruit Season" festival

On June 5, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Organization Board of the 2024 "Season of Ripe Fruits" festival to review the preparation progress for the festival.

According to a report by provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism—the standing body of the Organization Board of the 2024 "Season of Ripe Fruits" festival, as of June 4, the organization board has received registration information for 84 booths. These include 21 booths from 8 neighboring provinces, 31 booths from 7 localities within the province and 32 booths from independent registrants (excluding the number of booths registered from Thuan An city).

From now until the festival's opening, relevant departments, agencies and Thuan An city will focus on coordinating and implementing assigned tasks to ensure the festival's activities on schedule. Specifically, the festival will feature activities such as the "Ripe Fruit Road" marathon; the opening and closing ceremonies; the "Charming Binh Duong" contest; the fruit and tourism culinary fair; the "Season of Ripe Fruits" photo contest; the photo exhibition on beautiful tourism-Binh Duong tourism promotion; the “Don ca tai tu” (Southern folk opera) festival, street music performance...

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Ha basically agreed with the report of the festival’s organization board. He urged relevant departments, agencies and units to adhere to the plan and ensure timely execution of tasks. Thuan An city should actively and effectively carry out the assigned activities.

It is known that the 2024 "Season of Ripe Fruits" festival will take place from June 15 to 22 in Cau Ngang area in Thuan An city’s Hung Dinh ward.
