Focusing on giving Tet care for laborers

The Executive Committee of provincial Labor Union, on January 8, forwarded its 4^th session for the 2018-2023 tenure.

In 2018, provincial Labor Union bent on taking care of and protecting trade unionists, laborers’ legitimate rights and interests. Particularly, there were additional 408 mass labor deals, bringing the total number of valid ones to 1,528. The whole province had 727 enterprises with conferences for laborers; 1,741 enterprises organizing 5,223 dialogues between employers and employees. Under the “Gathering in Tet holiday” and “Sentimental spring bus” programs, provincial Labor Union gave 4,000 Tet bus tickets for needy laborers to return home for Tet with a total cost of VND3.7billion. Trade Unions at all levels of the province also coordinated with relevant units and localities to offer 514,100 gifts worth nearly VND155million to laborers with difficult circumstances.

From now till the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2019, Trade Unions at all levels of the province will further boost activities taking Tet care for trade unionists and laborers.
