Fund for workers having particularly difficult circumstances to support more than VND 5.3 billion

Fund supporting workers having particularly difficult circumstances was established by the Provincial Labor Federation at the end of 2019 and has helped taking care of union members, workers having special circumstances, like: suffering from serious diseases, occupational diseases, labor accidents... in order for them to receive treatment.

According to the Provincial Labor Confederation, up to now, the fund has provided support to more than 600 trade union members and workers suffering from serious diseases, occupational diseases, occupational accidents, deaths due to Covid-19, with a total support amount of more than VND 5.3 billion contributed from trade union members, workers, units, businesses and benefactors.

During the first months of 2022, the fund made visits and provided support to 86 cases of members and workers suffering from serious diseases and deaths due to Covid-19, with a total support of VND 860 million. In 2021 alone, the fund provided support to 279 cases with a total value of more than VND2.7 billion.
