Get-together held at Ta Thiet base relic site

Early July 14, Binh Duong province held a get-together on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27) and the 47th founding anniversary of the Red Cross Society of Song Be province (July 26), the predecessor of the Red Cross Associations of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces now at Ta Thiet base relic area in Binh Phuoc province’s Loc Ninh district.

The get-together was attended by former Politburo member, former President Nguyen Minh Triet; Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of Binh Duong provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Manh Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Phuoc provincial Party Committee and leaders of departments, sectors, districts, towns and cities of the two provinces.

The delegation visited and burned incense at the Memorial Temple of Uncle Ho, national heroes and martyrs at Ta Thiet base relic site. During the get-together, the Red Cross Society, Fatherland Front Committee and departments, sectors and mass organizations of Binh Duong province signed a joint program in carrying out humanitarian work for the period of 2023-2026. Delegates also directly presented gifts to 250 policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged families in Binh Phuoc province.

In the round, Binh Duong province offered humanitarian assistance to 5 districts, namely Loc Ninh, Hon Quan, Bu Dang, Bu Dop, Bu Gia Map, to support policy beneficiary and disadvantaged families in the area. The total value of gifts was more than VND 2.6 billion.
