Gifts donated to the poor in Ben Tre, Gia Lai

Early August 23, provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations offered 4,000 notebooks and VND45million in cash to poor pupils in Giong Trom district in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre on the occasion of the 2019-2020 new academic year.

*Provincial Red Cross Society has also just coordinated with its Volunteers’ Club to organize a delegation to visit and offer gifts to people with difficult circumstances in Ia Grai district’s Ia Ba commune in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai with a total expense of VND180million.

Particularly, the delegation gave 200 gifts worth VND650,000 each to the local poor people while offering 200 gifts worth VND250,000 each, including schoolbags, notebooks, pens, confectionary to the local needy pupils.
