Many activities in response to Humanitarian Month

On May 30, Di An city’s Red Cross Society in coordination with Dong Hoa ward’s Red Cross Society organized a program in response to the 2024 Humanitarian Month.

At the event, the city’s Red Cross Society coordinated with the Executive Board of the city’s Buddhist Sangha to award scholarships worth VND 1 million each to 200 students from disadvantaged households in the city. The city’s Red Cross Society received resources supported by Thien Ha - Bang Duong Construction Investment Co.Ltd. to build 2 “Red Cross” houses worth VND 80 million each for households with difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, Dong Hoa ward’s Red Cross Society awarded 20 scholarships worth VND 10 million to students with difficult circumstances; donated 15 health insurance cards; organized a "zero-dong market" to give 100 gifts with a total value of VND 50 million for the local people with difficult circumstances...
