Over 520,000 local students joyfully welcome new academic year

Early September 5, together with more than 20 million students nationwide, more than 520,000 students at 732 units and schools at all levels in the province officially entered the new academic year with excitement and determination to successfully complete the tasks of the 2023-2024 school year. In order to promptly encourage the spirit and congratulate the outstanding results of the education and training sector in the last school year, leaders of provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of departments, sectors,  mass organizations and localities to attend the opening ceremonies of the new school year at province-based schools.

*Di An city: Further building up an effective and friendly learning environment

Early September 5, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation attended the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 new school year at Di An high school. The event was also attended by Ho Quang Diep, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Di An city’s Party Committee.

At the opening ceremony, representative of the local leaders read a letter from State President Vo Van Thuong to the education and training sector on the occasion of opening the new school year. In the letter, the President affirmed: Our Party and State always define education as the top national policy. Educating and training children is a common task of the school, family and society. A country that wants to develop must have high quality education and investing in education is investing in sustainable development.

In the school year of 2022-2023, Di An high school has 100% of high-school graduation rate. Bui Trong Duy, Principal of the school said that in the 2023-2024 school year, Di An high school has 36 classes with more than 1,500 students. In the new school year, the school continues implementing the goal of building the best learning environment while hoping that students will try their best in studying, actively participate in extracurricular activities to develop social skills, creating a positive mark in the community.

*On the same morning, more than 1,850 students of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai high school also officially entered the 2023-2024 new academic year.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai high school has 677 10^th graders, divided into 15 classes. The school’s management board is determined to effectively implement the theme of the 2023-2024 school year: "Solidarity, discipline, creativity, further innovating in depth, improving the quality of education and training". *Tan Uyen city: Determined to improve teaching methods

Along with schools in the province, on the morning of September 5, Tan Phuoc Khanh high school solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 new school year, in attendance of Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee.

Early September 5, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee attended the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 new school year at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted. In the 2022-2023 school year, Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted achieved proud achievements. Particularly, at the end of the 2022-2023 school year, the school had 611 excellent students, reaching 72.39% of total. In the 2022-2023 school year, Nguyen Khuyen secondary - high school had 100% of 12th graders achieving high scores in the 2023 high school graduation exam with the average score of 7,966, ranking first in the province, the average score of university entrance examination under the traditional exam bloc of 26.07 points. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school receives 422 6th graders and 929 10th graders. The school’s teachers and students will further strive to improve the quality of education for development and integration.

In the 2022-2023 school year, Ben Cat high school has 100% of students with high-school graduation. The rate of students entering universities reached 99.12% of total.

Joining the joy of welcoming the new school year, on the morning of September 5, teachers and students of Long Hoa high school solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 new school year, in attendance of Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Long Hoa high school has 440 students in all grades, including 173 10^th graders. *North Tan Uyen district: Efforts to uphold results achieved

Early September 5, schools in North Tan Uyen district solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 new school year. In the school year of 2022-2023, Le Loi high school won 5 prizes at provincial-level contest for excellent students. The rate of students graduating from high school was 100%, with 6 out of 9 subjects having higher average scores than the level of the province. In the school year of 2023-2024, Le Loi high school has 15 classes with 562 students, including 230 10^th graders. *Thuan An city: Determined to emulate in good teaching, good learning

Early September 5, Ly Thai To high school held the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 new school year, in attendance of Nguyen Hoang Minh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of provincial Military Command.

In the school year of 2022-2023, all the school’s 12th graders graduated from high school. In the 2023-2024 new school year, the school has welcomed 663 10^th graders, an increase of 198 students compared to the previous school year. *On the same morning, Trinh Hoai Duc high school held the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year, in attendance of Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation.

With the motto of "Unity, exemplarity, discipline, creativity and efficiency", upholding achievements in the previous school year and this school year, Trinh Hoai Duc high school further organizes teaching and learning under the 2018 general education program for the 10^th and 11^th graders; continues effectively carrying out campaigns and emulation movements. *Bau Bang district: Bending on building up a healthy learning environment

Early September 5, Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 new school year at Bau Bang high school. Entering the 2023-2024 new school year, Bau Bang high school has 70 officials, teachers, staff and 39 classes with a total of 1,670 students, an increase of 250 students compared to the previous school year.

*Phu Giao district: Striving to well complete teaching and learning

Early September 5, with the spirit of "Innovation with improved efficiency", "Responsibility - Flexibility – Creativity for beloved students", 588 students and 25 managerial officials, staff and teachers of Phuoc Hoa high school were eager into the 2023-2024 new school year. In the 2022-2023 new school year, the school had 100% of students graduating from high school with the average test score of 7.36 points, ranked 10 out of 35 high schools across the province; received the certificate of merit from provincial People's Committee for 3 years of excellently completing the task of the high school graduation exam. The school's comprehensive educational quality was gradually improved, with the rate of students passing university and college entrance exams at 96.02% of total.

In the spirit of the new school year, Phuoc Hoa high school is determined to carry out the slogan of "Learn to behave first, then strengthen knowledge” with the spirit of "Learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, learning to assert yourself".
