Over VND134billion in loan disbursed for farmers

Provincial Farmers’ Association, on July 29, forwarded a conference to partially review its activities in the first half of 2019, in attendance of Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee.

In the first half of 2019, provincial Farmers’ Associations at all levels coordinated with sectors, mass organizations to well realize dissemination of information about the Party’s guidelines, policies and resolutions among officials and members. Their organization apparatus was also strengthened with effective operation ensured. The emulation movement of “good farmer in production and business” continued animatedly taking place with outstanding farmers, effective models…In 2019, there are more than 80% of farmers registering to take part in the emulation movement. Provincial Support Fund for Farmers over the past six months considered and disbursed more than VND137billion in loan for more than 4,300 members…

Addressing the conference, Mr.Thao stressed that provincial Farmers’ Association needs to successfully implement its programs, grasp members’ aspirations for timely support, create favorable conditions for farmers to develop, improving their spiritual and material lives; consider and replicate effective models; well manage and effectively uphold support resources for farmers…

The conference also nominated a 7-member inspection commission of the 9^th provincial Farmers’ Association. Pham Van Loi, Permanent Vice-Chairman of the association was elected as chief of the inspection commission.
