Update: 01-06-2024 | 12:16:51

On the afternoon of May 31, the Red Cross Society of Phu Loi ward in Thu Dau Mot city held a launching ceremony of the "Share dreams" model.

This is one of the models for implementing the program "Nutrition for poor and disabled children" launched by the Central Committee of Vietnam Red Cross Society and provincial Red Cross Society. The model was born to mobilize resources to join hands with localities to care for disadvantaged children by selling products and services of individuals, units or gifts to raise funds. The association will use funds collected to organize support activities for the local disadvantaged children. Currently, Phu Loi ward is home to more than 40 disabled children and nearly 300 children from poor and near-poor households.

On this occasion, the ward’s Red Cross Society mobilized organizations and individuals to offer vocational training livelihood support worth VND15million each to 4 disadvantaged members in the area. At the event, the ward’s Red Cross Society signed a program to coordinate with two units on vocational training livelihood support and healthcare support for officials and members.
