Traffic congestion gradually reduced

Since early this year, there have been 14 local traffic jams reported on some Huynh Van Cu street, National Highway 13, My Phuoc - Tan Van expressway...in the province. Meanwhile, the situation of traffic congestion at some key intersections has still occurred, caused by a sudden increase in the number of vehicles during peak hours; the impact of traffic accidents; car breakdown on road; signal lights not working…

According to the assessment of provincial Traffic Safety Board, the situation of traffic jams on some key roads of the province has been gradually overcome and limited. This result came from by the efforts by provincial Traffic Safety Board and relevant units after the pilot period of traffic stream division by hour and by route. Since August, 2022, they have focused on implementing synchronous solutions to ensure traffic safety and order, officially applying a plan on traffic diversion by hour and route on key roads. The functional forces have strengthened regulation, response, guidance as well as resolutely handling cases of violations on traffic stream division. As a result, by the end of September, they handled 625 violations on main roads and nearly 90 violations on branch roads.
