In the evening of February 6, Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee, worked with leaders of Thuan An city and People's Committee of Vinh Phu ward on the organization of disease prevention and control in the areas, especially the disease prevention and control at the Ehome 4 Apartment’s isolation area where patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 reside.

At the meeting, Nguyen Loc Ha directed local authorities to strictly comply with the disease prevention and control in the isolated area, where more than 1,800 households are being blocked and isolated. The health sector cooperates with the police force to quickly verify and trace the epidemic tracks to determine the extent of the epidemic area that can be infectious to take responding measures.

Forces participating in the isolation work immediately disinfect the elevator areas, corridors and areas where the patients often visit and live in. First aid, fire prevention, electricity and water supply and sanitation in the isolated areas must be checked regularly by following the process set out in disease prevention and control procedures. F1 cases must be moved to concentrated isolation quickly while F2 should be isolated at home and closely monitored. If F2 cases are found in the hostels that do not ensure the isolation conditions, then proceed them to concentrated isolation as the cases of F1.

“Besides, local authorities must pay attention to the care for live hood of households in the isolated area without lack of necessities,” said Ha.

On the same day, Nguyen Thanh Tam, Chairman of People's Committee of Thuan An city, said that the disease prevention and control plans had been prepared by local authorities before as it was discovered that Covid-19 broke out in the area, the committee pointed out that the disease prevention and control director of the city responded quickly. The organization of health care for the people, environmental sanitation, security and order inside the quarantine area has been done comprehensively. The people coordinate very well with the local authorities in implementing the lockdown and disease prevention and control.

Local authority has also set up logistic group to take care of the forces participating at the monitoring posts. Food and necessity supplies to people in the isolated area. Beforehand, local authority has coordinated with local Aeon Mall to supply for local people.
