Various collectives and individuals praised for crime prevention

On the morning of January 2nd, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee organized a conference to review the implementation of Plan No. 1042/KH-UBND dated March 10, 2022, issued by the Provincial People's Committee, regarding the implementation of Conclusion No. 13-KL/TW dated August 16, 2021, by the Politburo on the continued implementation of Directive No. 48-CT/TW dated October 22, 2010, by the Politburo (referred to as Plan 1042), as well as the summary of work in 2023 and the deployment of the work plan for 2024 by the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils Combat, and the Movement for the Whole People to Protect the Homeland Security of the province (referred to as provincial Steering Board 138). Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, attended and directed the conference.

During 2022-2023, the Party committees, authorities, and organizations at all levels have diligently implemented Plan 1042, contributing to enhancing coordination in crime prevention. In 2023, the political security and social order and safety situation in the province have been maintained stable, without any sudden or unexpected incidents; the investigation and discovery rate of various crimes reached 87.44% (the target was set at 75%).

Delivering a statement at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha proposed that the units effectively implement the guidelines and policies on crime prevention with focus on preventive work and timely resolution of social conflicts in order to sustainably reduce crime offenses.
