1,000 Tet gifts given for the poor

Early January 4, provincial Red Cross Society in collaboration with its branches, sectors and mass organizations presented more than 200 Tet gifts worth VND800,000 each to poor households, disabled people and Agent Orange victims in Ben Cat town’s 2 communes of An Tay and Phu An.

This was part of activities in the “Tet for the poor and Agent Orange victims” movement 2017 organized by provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels and donors.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee said that this was a significant program. On behalf of provincial leaders, he extended best regards to all recipients and wanted that they will always try to surmount difficulties and rise up in life.

*Also on the morning of January 4, provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels and mass organizations gave 200 Tet gifts for poor households, disabled people and Agent Orange victims in Dau Tieng district’s 2 communes of Dinh An and Long Tan. Attending the event was Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee.

Addressing the event, Mr.Tu wanted that locals will always try in life, help each other to surmount difficulties and secure a happier and more prosperous life.

*On the afternoon of January 4, provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels and mass organizations presented 200 Tet gifts worth VND800,000 each to disadvantaged people in Phu Giao district. Attending the event was Mai The Trung, former Secretary of provincial Party Committee.

*On the afternoon of the same day, Mai The Trung, former Secretary of provincial Party Committee together with leaders of the local government and donors directly offered 200 Tet gifts to poor households, disabled people and Agent Orange victims in Tan Uyen town’s 2 communes of Vinh Tan and Phu Chanh.

*In Bau Bang district, 200 Tet gifts were also presented to the poor.
