Exhibition of Binh Duong provincial five-year socio-economic, defense - security accomplishments opened

On Oct 13, an exhibition of 5-year socio-economic, national defense security accomplishments of Binh Duong province (2015-2020) to welcome the 11th Provincial Party Congress tenure 2020- 2025 was inaugurated and opened to the public. At the opening ceremony, there were Tran Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly's delegation; Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; and other delegates.

A meaningful activity

At the opening ceremony, Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the exhibition generally introduced efforts of the Party Committee, government, and people of the province through previous tenures; accomplishments in building the Party, building the government, the Front Committee, and mass organizations; socio-economic, defense - security accomplishments over 5 years (2015-2020).

This is also an opportunity for enterprises of all economic sectors in Binh Duong to introduce their products and services in order to explore the market and promote trade.

The exhibition is one of the major activities and programs to welcome the 11th Provincial Party Congress. Hence, the preparation work for this event was started many months ago. With a very meticulous, thoughtful and responsible preparation, localities, agencies and units brought lively contents in diverse forms to the exhibition. Booths were taken care throughout exhibition days.

The exhibition had the participation of 27 departments, agencies, unions, armed forces, universities, enterprises, and 9 districts, towns and cities in the province with 90 booths to display and introduce accomplishments in all fields. This is an important event in order to widely propagate to the people prominent achievements in socio-economic development, defense and security of the province over 5 years (2015-2020); at the same time, to introduce and popularize images of friendly Binh Duong land and people in the renovation, development and integration process. On the first exhibition day, all localities, agencies and units had meticulous and thoughtful preparation with distinctive contents, images, and products that present provincial achievements during the past 5 years.

Right on the first day, the exhibition attracted crowds of visitors who showed their excitement about a growing Binh Duong.

Many special spaces

With the careful preparation for the content and layout, the exhibition booth of provincial Fatherland Front Committee, mass organizations introduced many meaningful and impressive pictures and miniatures. Especially, visitors were very impressed with the automatic hand washing machine of Youth Union located in front of this booth. This is an innovative product of provincial youth for the prevention and control of Covid-19. Tran Thi Yen, Deputy Chief of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee's Office, said dissemination and propagation movements, activities in each field of these units were clearly displayed through images, miniatures, and products at this exhibition.

In addition to images and products, there were video clips recording outstanding results of the Fronts and mass organizations in contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals, national defense and security of the province in the past 5 years.

Besides introducing about the provincial achievements, booths of each district, town and city also created a lively common exhibition space. Nguyen Tan Phat, Head of Culture - Information Office of Tan Uyen Town, said that Tan Uyen Town's booth had the theme: "Tan Uyen - Innovation and development". In addition to images demonstrating the Party leadership over the periods, Tan Uyen Town also introduced their well-known recognized agricultural, industrial products. These were bamboo and rattan products, household products of manufacturers in the town... The most noteworthy product as visiting this booth were pomelo and food made from grapefruit, such as: Pomelo wine, pomelo jam, pomelo sweetened porridge, pomelo essential oil of Bach Dang Cooperative, and clean vegetable products of Thanh Hoi.

On Oct 13, exhibition booths welcomed a good many visitors. Vo Thi Thuy Linh, a student in the province, said that thanks to her university's announcement, she knew about and came to this exhibition. Thuy Linh said: “Each booth has its own characteristics and all are very diverse. There are very new products, I have never seen before. I find this exhibition very meaningful, helps me to gain more new and useful knowledge, which can inspire students to have new ideas".

After the opening ceremony at 16:00 on Oct 13, the exhibition was opened to the public until the end of Oct 16. The exhibition helped arouse and foster the great power of the great national unity bloc, promote internal strength, create new motivation for Binh Duong to continue successfully performing socio-economic development, national defense and security tasks in the coming time.
