Farmers in Phu An contributes over 6,600 square meters to new-style rural construction

Under the emulation movement of “farmers take part in building new-style rural areas”, since early this year, the Farmers Association of Phu An commune in Ben Cat town has mobilized members and farmers in the commune to contribute 6,620 square meters of land, more than VND270million, more than 200 working days to building and upgrading 13,000 meters of rural roads.

The association has also joined hands with relevant units to open 6 training courses on sci-tech transfer in animal husbandry and cultivation for members and farmers; organize visits to effective models in HCM city’s Hoc Mon district and Mekong Delta provinces of Ben Tre, An Giang, Dong Thap…Additionally, the association has mobilized more than VND103million for the local Support Fund for Farmers.
