Get-together in early year for press agencies

Early February 15, provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, Fatherland Front Committee held a get-together early in the year of the rooster 2017 for press agencies. Attending the event were Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee (PSC), Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Public Relations, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Le Huu Phuoc, member of the PSC, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda-Education; Nguyen Minh Thuy, member of the PSC, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; leaders of sectors, departments, journalists, representatives of press agencies in and out of the province.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Phuoc acknowledged and praised press agencies for their contributions to the local socio-economic development over the last year. He also suggested them to boost dissemination of information about the implementation of the Resolution of Party congresses at all levels of the province in association with the Resolution of the 4^th session of the 12^th Party Central Committee on strengthening Party building, the Politburo’s Directive No.05-CT/TW on “Continued acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”; continue propagandizing the successful realization of a goal of developing Binh Duong into a first-class city to improve locals’ spiritual and material lives.

On this occasion, provincial leaders sent the letters of thanks to press agencies in the province. Provincial Journalists’ Association also awarded 13 high-quality press awards of 2016 to 13 outstanding works. Particularly, 3 were granted the Prize A and 10 with the Prize B…
