Get-together marks 35th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day

Early November 14, provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) held a get-together to mark the 35^th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982-November 20, 2017). At the get-together, delegates reviewed the tradition and development of the local sector of education and training over the past time. The sector has so far had a total of 591 schools and continuing education centers; 18 vocational training facilities and universities. As of August 2017, the province had 236 out of 370 public schools meeting national standards. The whole sector has till now had a total of 20,450 staff with the quality of education improved…

On this occasion, provincial DoET was awarded the emulation banner for the best unit in the “Improvement, creativeness in teaching and learning” emulation movement in the 2016-2017 academic year of the Ministry of Education and Training. Provincial DoET also paid tribute leaders of the sector over periods.
