Provincial leader receives Denmark’s delegation

On the afternoon of June 30, Nguyen Thanh Truc, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee had a working session with a delegation of the Embassy of Denmark to Vietnam, led by Troels Jakobsen, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Denmark to Vietnam.

At the reception, Mr.Truc briefly informed the delegation of the local socio-economic development over the past 20 years. He said that Binh Duong now has a synchronous traffic system and an attractive destination for investors with total FDI capital herein estimated at US$35billion. He also introduced the delegation about Binh Duong new city that is being oriented for smart city development; thanked Danish businesses operating in the province; introduced the local development orientations while wanting that the delegation will call for Danish businesses to make investment in the province, especially in technical infrastructure and hi-tech fields.

Troels Jakobsen, for his part, thanked provincial leaders for their warm welcome; spoke highly of the local development in investment attraction. He also expressed his impression on Binh Duong in particular and Vietnam in general in effectively preventing Covid-19 pandemic. He also introduced some support programs for the province, including the Danish Investment Fund, Denmark’s educational solutions in Vietnam for preschool, primary and secondary levels…
