Tan Uyen rechecks targets, boosting action programs

In Q2, 2019, the Executive Board of Tan Uyen town’s Party Committee has set major tasks, comprising of rechecking, reviewing the situation of realizing action programs, plans for provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs and the Resolution of the town’s 11^th Party Committee congress for the 2015-2020 tenure; effectively implementing State management in all aspects; accompanying enterprises to deal with queries and protecting laborers’ legitimate rights & interests.

Positive outcomings

In Q1, 2019, the town reached positive results in socio-economic development, national defence-security. The town’s industrial production value was estimated at more than VND4.3billion, up nearly 11% compared to the same period last year. The town’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services was estimated at VND2.83trillion, up 19.5% against the corresponding period last year.

The town also bent on urban rejuvenation; paid more attention to “paying debt of gratitude” activities, took care of people with extremely difficult circumstances…In addition, the town continued attaching special importance to administrative reform.

Along with directing the implementation of socio-economic development, the town’s Party Committee has always paid attention to Party building. In Q1, 2019, the town’s Party building was strengthened. The town also attached special importance to disseminating the Politburo’s Directive 05-CT/TW with special subject in 2019 "Build a sense of respect for People, promote democracy, take care of People's lives according to the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh”. Moreover, the town strengthened personnel work, admitted additional 23 new Party members…

Efforts

So far, there have been 100% of residential-trading areas in the town with concentrated water drainage and waste water treatment systems; 80% of the local households in use of clean water…The town will also strive to get 70%-80% of wards and communes with cultural centers by 2020.

Ho Quang Diep, Secretary of the town’s Party Committee said that the town’s Party Committee has assessed the situation of action plans, programs to realize provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs and the Resolution of the town’s 11th Party Committee congress for the 2015-2020 tenure. In terms of Party building, the town will continue well realizing the Resolution of the 4^th plenary session of the 12^th Party Central Committee in association with the Politburo’s Directive No.05-CT/TW and attach special importance to honoring role-models in studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings.

For socio-economic development in 2019, the town has effectively carried out State management in the fields of land, natural resources, construction, urban order…; accompanied enterprises in removing their queries; focused on fulfilling procedures of a project setting up 4 wards of Vinh Tan, Hoi Nghia, Phu Chanh and Tan Vinh Hiep and will submit it into provincial People’s Committee for approval; continued improving the quality of new-style rural criteria in Bach Dang and Thanh Hoi; concentrated on site clearance for key works; effectively realized policies on social welfare; protected laborers’ legitimate rights and interests…

According to Mr.Hiep, the town’s authorities and mass organizations at all levels need to raise their sense of responsibility and absolutely tap existing advantages to achieve the local tasks in 2019…
