Diverse gratitude activities in Tan Uyen town

To implement the gratitude program, in 2018, Tan Uyen town built and handed over one “gratitude” house to Duong Van Dac, 2/4-wounded soldier in Vinh Tan commune. To express gratitude to policy families, the town also supported 53 revolutionary contributors and their family members in health recovery and medical treatment; cooperated with Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to organize visit to Con Dao for 5 revolutionary contributors ...

In 2019, the town's Office of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs plans to cooperate with related agencies to survey and propose the construction of gratitude houses for revolutionary contributors in the town; consider and resolve preferential regimes for policy beneficiaries as prescribed. The office also advises leaders on handling visits and moving martyrs' remains; at the same time cooperates with agencies and unions to find and return martyr’s remains to cemetery in the town.
