Emulations of excellent veterans yield practical models

On the morning of July 8, the Veterans Association of Ben Cat city organized the Congress of exemplary veterans competition in 2019-2024.

In the past 5 years, the work of commendation and the movement of exemplary veterans have been successfully implemented by all levels of the association, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere throughout, especially in participation in movements and campaigns of the Central and local authorities. In Ben Cat city, many learning models and practices initiated by veteran associations have yielded practical results, such as the "Near the grassroots, close to members" model, the "self-management of veteran routes" model, the "traffic accident rescue team", the city-level "veteran propaganda club", and the commune-level models.

At the congress, Major General Tran Huu Tai, Chairman of the provincial Veterans Association, expressed his desire for the upcoming period that the emulation movement of the veterans association should first focus on building a strong association in terms of politics, ideology, and organization; and concentrate on implementing the association's pathway of "1 focus and 3 breakthroughs".

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Ben Cat City awarded certificates of merit to 15 collectives and 32 individuals who have achieved outstanding results in the movement of exemplary veteran soldiers" in the period of 2019-2024.
