Group on self-managed environmental protection and climate change response launched

On July 14, the Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) of Phu My ward in Thu Dau Mot city, organized the launch ceremony for the "Self-Managed Environmental Protection and Climate Change Response Group among Cao Dai followers" in Phu My ward’s quarter 8.

At the launch ceremony, representative of the ward’s FFC Standing Committee announced a decision to establish the "Self-Managed Environmental Protection and Climate Change Response Group among Cao Dai followers" in Phu My ward’s quarter 8. Representative of the Group’s Executive Board also introduced the group’s working regulations.

On this occasion, the group's Executive Board received tools related to environmental sanitation work and donated eight gifts to disadvantaged families. After the launch ceremony, nearly 20 members of the group and local residents got involved in cleaning up DX004 road, promoting a task of sorting household solid waste at the source to the public.
