Local Buddhist Shangha celebrates the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi

The provincial Buddhist Shangha held the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi on July 30. The ceremony took place solemnly with the rituals of incense offering and requiem. Superior Buddhist monk Thich Minh Thien, said “This is a significant event to spray for the country and world’s peace, prosperousness”.

Addressing the ceremony, the provincial Fatherland front Committee chairwoman Dao Ngoc Nu applauded the provincial Buddhist Shangha’s contributions.

She valued that the shangha has made great contributions to local socio-economic development.
