Natural disaster prevention enhanced in Thu Dau Mot city

From the beginning of the year, Thu Dau Mot city has enhanced the prevention of disasters, rescue and relief. Accordingly, the city authority has completed the installation of valves to prevent high tide along Thu Dau Mot market place and implemented 8 constructions of dredging, enforcing, banister installation, and decorative lighting along dykes and channels. Besides, nearly 1,600 plants were grown in the city in responding to the planting festival of 2020.

In the last 3 months of 2020, the city authority is aiming to well implement measures of environment sanitation, dyke dredging and flow assurance under the proposed programs and plans. The city authority has also implemented measures of responding to natural disasters and flood caused by high tide.
