First test results of 107 cases involving COVID-19 outbreaks were negative

Dr. Nguyen Hong Chuong, Director of provincial Department of Health, said that on May 8, provincial health authority monitored 12 more high-risk cases related to K Hospital's COVID-19 outbreak, and Patient No. 2998 in Lao Cai.

Accumulated to this point, the health authority has investigated and supervised 107 cases related to outbreaks across the country. The first-test results were negative for COVID-19. 12 cases were investigated during a day, there were 6 cases related to Tan Trieu K Hospital. These were 1 case, in Binh Co hamlet, Binh My commune, North Tan Uyen district, visited a friend in Tan Trieu Hospital on May 4 to 5; 1 case, in zone 9, Phu Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot city, was at K Hospital from April 26 to 4 May. The remaining 4 cases living in Di An City visited their family at K Hospital (1 in Tan Phuoc quarter, 1 in Tan Thang quarter, Tan Binh ward; 2 cases in Noi Hoa quarter, Binh An ward). 

The remaining cases related to Patient No. 2998 in Lao Cai lives in Quarter 2, Hiep Thanh Ward in Thu Dau Mot City and Tan Binh Ward, Di An Ward in Di An City. These 6 cases traveled to places, such as Pao Hotel on April 30, took Fanxipan cable car from April 24 to May 2, coinciding with the urgent notice of finding people related to Lao Cai province's outbreak. All these cases have been centrally quarantined.
