17 organizations and individuals honored for contributions to the cause of environmental protection

On December 14, the Provincial People's Committee held the 2021 Binh Duong Provincial Environment Award. Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, attended the ceremony.

Nguyen Trinh Cao Son, Deputy Head of Environmental Protection Department branch, said that after the Provincial People's Committee had approved the Binh Duong Provincial Environmental Award 2021, the organizers received 51 applications for the contest. After stages of evaluation, voting and assessment of criteria, the organizers decided to present awards to 11 organizations, communities and 6 individuals. According to assessment of the organizers, these are organizations, communities and individuals that have made practical and meaningful contributions to the cause of environmental protection in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mai Hung Dung appreciated the joint efforts of organizations, communities and people in the province in the cause of environmental protection. Mai Hung Dung hoped that in the coming time, individuals, organizations and communities would continue to preserve and maintain the achieved results and continue to strive harder to build Binh Duong smart city of sustainable development with green - clean - civilized - modern criteria put on top. In particular, the pioneer of branches, localities and organizations, communities, individuals who won these prizes, will be an important foundation for the province soon achieve that great goal.
