In order to improve the roles, responsibilities and coordination of job placement centers in labor market recovery and development, contributing to minimizing the local labor shortage in the current period, provincial Job Placement Center has connected with many localities throughout the country to bring laborers from them to Binh Duong to work. In the first quarter of 2022, the center connected and created jobs for more than 1,500 workers.

Talking to reporters, Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Deputy Director of provincial Job Placement Center said that the contents of the coordination program in recruiting workers has ensured the correct implementation of the functions and tasks of the centers. They are carried out regularly and in a long-term nature with the goal of creating favorable conditions for employees who want to come to Binh Duong province to work in accordance with their capacity and have a stable monthly income.

The effective linkage between the Job Placement Centers of Binh Duong province and other localities has brought thousands of workers to Binh Duong to work

Typically, after coordinating with Lao Cai provincial Job Placement Center, this unit has brought tens of workers to work at RK Resources Co., Ltd. in Bau Bang district. This is the first group of laborers connected and sent to work in Binh Duong province by Lao Cai provincial Job Placement Center in 2022, marking the initial success in the close connection between the two units.

Binh Duong provincial Job Placement Center has also created favorable conditions for Lao Cai provincial Job Placement Center to visit and learn about working conditions as well as bonus and welfare policies for workers at Bowker Co., Ltd. in Thuan An city and Hoang Thong Wood Company in Tan Uyen town. This is the premise for disseminating enterprises ‘recruitment information to employees in Lao Cai province to be practical, effective and also a bridge for enterprises in Binh Duong to have the opportunity to access abundant labor resources in rural areas through Lao Cai provincial Job Placement Center.

Previously, upholding the results achieved from the labor linkage program with the Central Highlands provinces, Binh Duong provincial Job Placement Center has continued acting as a bridge helping Highland Dragon Co., Ltd., which is specialized in producing canned fish in Di An city to recruit 25 workers from Kon Tum province. Tens of other companies in Tan Uyen town, Ben Cat town and Di An city have supplemented their labor resources from the above linkage.

Nguyen Vinh Phi, Director of of Highland Dragon Co., Ltd.’s Personnel Department said that the company needs 400 unskilled workers at production demand. However, it is very difficult to recruit workers after the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival. The company has registered to join the job transaction floor at provincial Job Placement Center with the hope of finding a labor source at the beginning of the year. After being actively supported by the center in recruitment information dissemination among employees, the company has also received a number of job applications…

“Binh Duong provincial Job Placement Center introduced us to the program connecting with the Central Highlands provinces to bring workers to Binh Duong to work. The company registered for this program on March 11 and has received a number of employees. This is a successful start. With this way, the company will continue receiving labor resources from the Central Highlands provinces, especially Kon Tum province."

If the linkage for labor recruitment was only based on posting recruitment information through social networking sites, through information provided by enterprises, but now, this task needs to be more thoughtful and realistic in the face of labor shortage. Mr. Phuong said that many enterprises only need primary-school education for unskilled workers. However, the basic salary and allowance levels for their workers are much higher than before. The recruitment unit will give priority to enterprises that have good care policies for employees, thereby creating a reputation with other localities for long-term, in-depth connection.

“Especially, before making recruitment linkage, we come to enterprises in order to check their salary and allowance policies. The center must review more carefully, not post or link in a way that deceives employees. We have to determine that when workers get good care, live well with their efforts, they will have a long attachment with enterprises…", said Mr. Phuong.

Typically, when recruiting laborers, RK Resources Company guarantees the monthly salary level of VND8million-VND10 million per person. Before leaving their hometowns for Binh Duong to work, 22 workers in Lao Cai province were informed by the local job placement center about welfare regulations, labor laws and were supported by enterprises with food and transportation costs. Along with these things, they were arranged accommodations with policies on social insurance, health insurance...Following this trip to bring workers to Binh Duong to work, Lao Cai provincial Job Placement Center will further connect with Binh Duong provincial Job Placement Center as well as enterprises there to continue bringing more workers to Binh Duong to work in the near future.

Through provincial Job Placement Center, representatives of many enterprises in Binh Duong said that they will arrive in the Central Highlands provinces to directly advise laborers on their policies while being ready for cooperating with the Job Placement Centers of localities with redundant labor resources for recruitment, helping employees get stable jobs, improving their lives.
