Thorough preparation for organization of commemorative days

On the afternoon of December 16, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear reports regarding the preparatory work for organizing the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th Anniversary of the National Defense Day as well as activities for welcoming the New Year and celebrating the 28th anniversary of Binh Duong province's establishment (January 1, 1997 – January 1, 2025) from relevant departments, sectors and units.

At the meeting, representative from provincial Military Command reported that preparations for the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day have been completed basically. Representative from provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism further reported on preparations for the ceremony to honor outstanding collectives and individuals in 2024, which will be linked with the awards ceremony for the Binh Duong provincial logo design competition. The report also covered the upcoming New Year's Eve artistic program and fireworks display to welcome the 2025 New Year as well as activities to mark the 28th anniversary of Binh Duong province's establishment.

Concluding the meeting, provincial People's Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Loc Ha basically agreed with the contents of the reports and proposals presented by the units. He also emphasized the importance of all relevant units and localities carefully reviewing and preparing for all related tasks in a thorough and scientific manner. This preparation is essential to ensure the successful organization of the commemorative activities and to foster a vibrant atmosphere of emulation throughout the political system and the community.

*On the same afternoon, Mr. Ha also chaired a meeting to hear a report on preparations for the 2024 provincial ceremony to honor exemplary citizens from provincial Department of Home Affairs.
