Tan Uyen’s Party Committee focuses on urban rejuvenation, apparatus restructuring, preparation for successful organization of Party congresses at all levels

Early December 5, the Executive Board of Tan Uyen city’s Party Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure held its 20th session, in attendance of Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

Reportedly, in 2024, Tan Uyen city’s Party Standing Committee focused on leading and directing the serious implementation of resolutions and plans for socio-economic development, Party and political system building, thereby achieving many positive results. Specifically, the city’s economic value continued growing, with timely support provided to resolve businesses’ obstacles. The city’s disbursement of public investment capital reached 98% of the plan. The city also paid attention to urban planning and management. The city’s social welfare was ensured with policies for people implemented promptly. In addition, the city’s work of Party building, personnel organization, Party rectification, anti-corruption and anti-waste efforts as well as administrative reform within the Party, received attention and achieved many positive results. The city’s work of mass mobilization, the activities of the Front and mass organizations continued being strengthened towards grassroots. The city’s implementation of the Project No. 02 from provincial Party Committee also achieved high results.

At the session, delegates reviewed and approved the draft Resolution on orientations and tasks for 2025. They also considered the Proposal seeking opinions on the second draft of the Political Report of the city’s 12^th Party Committee's Executive Board for the 2020-2025 tenure, which will be presented at the city’s13th Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure.

Speaking at the session, Mr.Dung acknowledged and spoke highly of results done by Tan Uyen city in 2024. He urged that in the coming time, the city’s Party Committee should further promote unity and determination, leading efforts to effectively implement tasks for socio-economic development, political system building with a focus on urban rejuvenation, infrastructure investment, ensuring security and order, effectively reorganizing the local administrative apparatus and preparing for the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 tenure.

On this occasion, Tan Uyen city’s Party Committee organized a ceremony to present Party badges to 32 Party members, ranging from 30 to 65 years of Party membership.
